Sisterhood is difficult to define. You can't touch it, you can't buy it, and you can't make it
happen. But it is something you can feel, others can see, and it's priceless.
AOII sisters all over the world have known for over 100 years what makes the sisterhood of AOII
so special to us. It's knowing that no matter where you are or what you need, there is always a
sister nearby. AOII sisters share good times and celebrations and we are here for each other
when a sister is in need.
As collegiates, we have many opportunities to spend time with each other through planned
socials, campus events, philanthropic events and other chapter programming. But some of the
best and most memorable times come from unplanned and spontaneous outings, watching
movies at the chapter house, or meeting up at the library for study time.
Becoming a member of AOII starts in college, but opportunities for sisterhood last a lifetime.
