Welcome AOII Parents! We're happy that you've stopped by to learn more
about the great organization your daughter has joined. We hope that this
website provides you with a realistic view of what AOII offers your daughter
and how membership is enhancing her college and life experience.
Parents' Club & Parents' Day
We are currently working on expanding the role parents can take in their daughters' AOII and
college experiences. There are several opportunities to participate including our chapter
house Wish Lists, the Corporation Board and our Parents' Club, currently being formed.
We also sponsor a Parents Day each semester. At Parents Day you'll have the opportunity to
meet other members of AOII, other parents, our Advisers and you'll get a tour of our chapter
house. It's a great way to find out what AOII is all about!
Thank you for visiting the Lambda Beta Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi. If your daughter is
currently attending or will be attending or transferring to CSULB and interested in sorority life,
then you're in the right place!
Greek membership has changed greatly over the last few decades, and all for the benefit,
safety, and integrity of its members. Strict guidelines on education, scholarship, alcohol and
life skills are in place for the safety of our collegiate members. The New Member period is a
six-week program which begins on Bid Day and culminates with initiation into AOII. During this
time, the emphasis is on education about AOII and its history and AOII has implemented a strict
policy against hazing.
We hope that the information provided in this website answers many of your questions.
Additionally, we have prepared a Sorority Recruitment/Rush Frequently Asked Questions'
Adobe PDF document which can be downloaded by clicking on the panda icon.
If you are a Greek yourself, you already understand how membership can contribute to your
life and career long after your college days. If you're not familiar with the Greek system, we
hope that the information we've provided, the 'Frequently Asked Questions,' and if you'd like, a
personal conversation, answer your questions.
Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding your daughter's
membership, time commitment, financing, and Chapter Housing.
Please contact AOII if you have questions about your
daughter's AOII membership, potential membership,
Parents' Club or Chapter Housing.

contact Recruitment Adviser, Cat Smith at recruitmentadviser@alphaomicronpicsulb.org.
Thank you!
House Update: Erin Collins, Properties Adviser, has been working with AOII Properties to
prepare the Lambda Beta Chapter house for recruitment. We have a full house and due to
normal wear & tear, we are in need of some new furniture. Some unforeseen repairs limited
the funds available for furniture replacement. AOII Properties and our adviser, Erin, have
prepared a Wish List for items needing to be upgraded or replaced. Here is a PDF version of
the list for you to download.

Additionally, registries are available for the chapter at both Walmart & Target. Click on the
links below to view & purchase items. If you prefer to donate towards a larger item, gift cards
for either store can be purchased and sent to our adviser, Erin Collins as well. Thanks so
much for your support!

If you're interested in donating towards furniture needs or in purchasing an item for donation,
please contact Erin.
